Imagine this: waking up to snow-dusted mountain views, enjoying a warm, quiet breakfast featuring Vermont maple syrup and local produce, then setting out for a day of cross-country skiing at the country’s first cross-country ski center (that’s right!). Hang up your skis at the von Trapp Brewing Bierhall, warm up by the fire pits, and put in a hearty order of brats and a couple lagers, of course. After your late lunch, return to the lodge, take a nice soak at the spa, enjoy a lovely dinner, and then relax by the fire.
