A resort built for adventureThings to Do near Trapp Family Lodge

No matter the season, there is always something fun and exciting to do at Trapp Family Lodge. With 2,600 acres of trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoing, mountain biking, and walking, plus a rental facility and an 18-hole disc golf course, there is an outdoor experience for everyone in your party of all skill levels. Imagine this: waking up to snow-dusted mountain views, enjoying a warm, quiet breakfast featuring Vermont maple syrup and local produce, then setting out for a day of cross-country skiing at the country’s first cross-country ski center (that’s right!). Hang up your skis at the von Trapp Brewing Bierhall, warm up by the fire pits, and put in a hearty order of brats and a couple lagers, of course. After your late lunch, return to the lodge, take a nice soak at the spa, enjoy a lovely dinner, and then relax by the fire. If you’re lucky, you may get to hear some fireside stories of the von Trapp family from a family member themselves! What are you waiting for?
